After doing a one year course in photography with the aim of specializing in commercial work, it instead opened my eyes to the endless possibilities that photography presents as a medium for expressing oneself.
I love to experiment and play within all the different genres in photography, it makes ones thoughts expand further than just what you might think is in a certain category. Although I do like to keep the images simple and uncluttered with only the essential elements in view.
The "beach" series was shot with a Lomographic Holga camera using 120mm slide film (ISO 120) that was cross-processed. It is an ongoing series all about memories. Slightly out of focus it gives the same soft effect as thinking back on fond recollections.
